a "Circles in the Sand" event at Face Rock State Scenic Viewpoint in Bandon, Oregon. in the foreground and center, visitors of all ages meander through a large, intricate sand labyrinth hand-drawn by artist Denny Dyke and his team of volunteers. the ephemeral art, known as a "dreamfield," features a single, continuous path designed for walking meditation that remains visible only until the next high tide. large sea stacks and rugged cliff faces frame the sandy beach.

My son and I walked the Circles in the Sand labyrinth this morning. The event is held every year from April through September at low tide.
