Black and white composition with high contrast of Lake Dillon and the surrounding mountains with an overcast sky. The sun is peeking through slightly low on the horizon for sunset making the surrounding clouds appear dark and foreboding, A frozen river feeds Lake Dillon from the mountains. The shadows of the trees are stark against the frozen white of the lake.

Took this yesterday on an overcast day in #Summitcounty. The sun peeked through for a hot second setting up some great shadows. Captured this on the #Nikon #D850 24-70mm.

This is a portrait image of the edges of the town of Breckenridge and the slopes in the background. The shot is taken from a high vantage point with a gently sloping hill covered in pine trees going to the valley floor and the shores of a frozen lake Dillon. On the left of the frame, the glow of the town of Breckenridge illuminates the landscape and the ski area with a warm yellow glow. Brightly lit stars dominate the top 2/3 of the frame shining brightly against the light blue sky to the deep black of space.

This capture of #Breckenridge #Colorado was taken from #SapphirePoint trail with #LakeDillon in the foreground Sunday night. It was 7 degrees that night and I learned that I need better gloves. Gonna order some rn.
