#Sweetwoodruff dye on #wool #yarn. #NaturalDyes don't always come out this vivid. I had to REALLY concentrate the color and boil the living daylights out of this stuff. On the left you can see the second batch. Notice how much the color weakens between exhaust batches. #Savetheweeds #Forage

#Milkweed being combed for bast fibers to turn into yarn. If you let the milkweed stand all year, the fibers are nice and strong. If you cut it back month after month to try and keep it a tiny stub, it's completely useless to me. #SavetheWeeds #Forage #Fibercrafts
