One of my #ScarredForLife moments is being force fed pizza at junior school in the '70s. I'd never had it before and it didn't agree with my young palate. But through my retching, tears and pleading, the dinner lady insisted I finish it. This was properly traumatic and put me off pizza for 15 years.

That, and many many other TV programmes, comics, ads and public info films is why we Brits and Irish of a certain vintage are as messed up as we are :)
