So what's next for the Scenario Services team at IIASA?

An exciting initiative is the #ScenarioCompass - going beyond scenario ensembles in the context of the IPCC, moving towards a "live database" of relevant scenarios, with interfaces tailored for different user groups!

The #ScenarioCompass Initiative will address these concerns through annual, community-driven of releases well-vetted scenario ensembles, encouraging participation of more modeling teams, and facilitating better use of these mitigation scenarios though better analysis and data visualization tools.

Scenarios from Integrated Assessment & energy systems models are an important part of the policy discourse for getting to net-zero.
