After 6 and a half years this is my last official Friday #schoolstrike4climate as I have now finished school and will hopefully be going to College to study Environmental Science in September.

So the turn-out at Melbourne's #SchoolStrike4Climate was rather poor. The last march I went to (pre-COVID) packed out the Treasury Gardens and half of Collins St. It would seem the ALP have done a great job at killing the ClimateCrisis as a mainstream issue.

Coda: I have nothing against protests and civil disobedience per se. But it has to be rationally informed and based on a programme that is objectively better than that which it seeks to replace. So #schoolstrike4climate & @Fridays4future pass the test, but @XRebellionUK does not.
