Metal stair railings rise from the sand up towards large ‘baskets’ of rocks put in place to stem coastal erosion. This along with boulders and other efforts have failed while littering the coast with metal and other dangers. The red clay cliffs are receding.

This is the section of cliff where the red brick well was revealed back in the 90s.
