Two seagulls rest on a far offshore rock as the sun begins to break through and the Atlantic flattens out after a stormy day at Acadia National Park. It is late in the afternoon. There are dark clouds in the sky, but also patches of blue and breaks of sunshine. Some rocks just offshore and a rocky islet a bit farther offshore are silhouetted against a dark ocean with bright highlights. The ocean is still a bit choppy with small waves and swells. Two seagulls standing on that islet are also silhouetted.
