Have a look at this wonderful tiny knife, the blade is around 2" long, with a stacked leather handle.
The balancing act is cleaning up the blade and handle, whilst leaving it's history and character.

A customer asked me for bringing these kitchen knives back, without taking away their history.
So I removed most of the built up residue of the handle, straitend and re-tipped one of the blades whilst cleaning of the rust but keeping some patina, and reprofileing the cutting edges.

A customer brought this cute NAAFI knife, it was her grandfathers who served in the RAF during WW2.
I left the scratches on the blade, as it's part of its history, plus I didn't want to risk losing the text.
