Learned something new today… countries around the equator don’t have daylight saving time. #SpringForward #SeasonalAffective
A black-and-white comic I drew 10 years ago, called “January… And February.” in the first panel you see me, a young woman in a sweater, jeans, boots, and a scarf walking down a curving sidewalk whistling a jaunty tune. In the first Panel, you see me, hands in pockets, scarf flowing in the breeze behind me, whistling my jaunty tune and a little black cloud is sneaking up behind me. In third panel, you see me whipping my head around to look at the little black cloud, but it’s not there. There’s only a little burst shape where it was. in the fourth panel, I’m still whistling and I’m much bigger, angrier looking black cloud sneaks up behind me. In the fifth panel, I turn around and this time I see the black cloud. I put my hand up to block against the cloud. The cloud has little lightning bolts and big raindrops flying out of it at this point. In the sixth panel, I have a shocked expression on my face and my hands are up in front of me, but the cloud has become goopy looking, and it’s sticking to my hands. In the seventh panel, the cloud is sticking to more of me, like Star, I have raised one of my feet up in a kicking motion and I am struggling with the cloud. In the eighth panel, I’ve fallen to my knees and am waving my arms as the black cloud begins to wrap itself around me, with more lightning bolts coming out of it. Then, you see lines indicating that u fallen out of the eighth panel, onto the bottom of the page. I’m lying there in a black tarry heap, twitching, with little lightning ZAPS zapping out of it, and all you can see anymore is one of my classic converse all-star chuck taylor sneakers and a bit of my scarf sticking out. At the top of the page, in cursive it says “January…” And then right before where you see me lying in a heap covered in black goo, it says, “…and February.” Period.
Here’s where we’re at... About panel 8.

As it’s still September, a little song written at a tricky time last year:

“So if you could, please consider our request for windows.
I miss the sunlight and the children do too…” #AbbottElementary
What if I told you my school from my first year had ZERO WINDOWS🙃🙃🙃 ZERO! #Triggered
I made it a point to eat outside at lunch everyday! #SeasonalAffective
Flowers: yellow daffodils, purple and white tulips, a small purple iris, and a small purple hyacinth, all in one purple papered pot.
Whoever had this idea, God bless you! 🪻 They put all the spring time baddies in one pot.
Daffodils. Tulips. Hyacinth.
Seeing this did my #SeasonalAffective heart good.🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

Finished in 2019, student film that was fueled by a lot of spite and love for what raised me (yaaas moomin influence queen). Happy #indieanimationday everyone #seasonalaffective
youtu.be/_aS5mN2edu4?... thought it would be the appropriate time of year to reshare my #animated #shortfilm about #seasonalaffective from 2019. It doesn’t tell the entire scope I wanted but it was nice. #mentalhealth
Shoutout to those of us who during the depth of winter find ourselves wanting to build a nice fire, gorge ourselves on butter, then sleep until Presidents' Day.

This coffee is broken. It's not waking me up at all. Think I need to buy a dawnlamp+ start mainlining vitamin D. #seasonalaffective
