Dear Senator Collins, Thank you for your reply on Dec 4, 2025. I agree that you've done a lot to support the LGBTQIA+ community as well as the transgender community. There is however a wall blocking your view of the issue of transgender women in women's sports. That wall is the term "biological males". And, the one major issue forming that wall. Is, that fact that many politicians don't examine the effects that both puberty blockers and hormone replacement therapy have on the human body. For transgender women . There is a reduction in muscle mass as well as muscle strength. Fat deposits move slowly in the body. From where a male holds their fat tissue. To where a female holds their fat tissue. Men don't develop cellulite. But, a transgender woman can develop cellulite. The metabolism has a slight change. The human brain, for some. Goes through a re-wiring process. I've experienced that myself personally. In closing, transgender women can be a powerful ally to cis-women. If they allow us to join them. I am proud to call myself an Intersectional Feminist.
