Canada halts importation of some European cheese following lumpy skin disease outbreak The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has banned the importation of raw milk cheeses from France, Italy and Switzerland in an effort to prevent an outbreak of lumpy skin disease in cattle.

The Lumpy Skin Disease in EU dairy cows has put a halt to raw milk cheese imports to Canada. Humans can't get the disease, but it can be spread to our cows by raw dairy products.
It's nice to see people being reasonable about it, making other choices.
