Finished #HeroesNextDoor. This was my second ensemble cast #kdrama that was really a fun watch after #SeoulBusters.
While it doesn't have the character growth depth as that 20 episodes drama, what's here absolutely worked for it.

#SeoulBusters gave me five detectives with five complete stories, built a world colorful enough to make me laugh and honest enough to make me weep, and delivered it all with the confidence of a #kdrama that knew exactly what it was from the very first frame.

Finished #SeoulBusters. This #kdrama really punched way above my expectations; I said it before that the ultimate praise I can give to any drama is not my coveted Perfect 10 seal, but a wish for season 2.
Well, I hope this one will have an S2, because I'd love to spend more time with these guys.🥰
Oh the last four eps are no jokes, so far #SeoulBusters has been disciplined with their 45 minutes per eps run. The last 4 runtime are 52, 51, 55, 58 minutes. The writer really looked at Yoo-bin's arc and said "this one needs more room".
Oof...the final four episodes are captain Yoo-bin's trauma, the one that has been super steady since ep. 1.
Even the "Next On..."preview was darker in tone. The vibe has shifted with this serial killer case. 😬

He has the face, the charm, the perfect emotional play; all Lee Seung-woo need now is that breakout role. Just like what #BonAppetitYourMajesty did for Lee Chae-min.
I'll be watching his #kdrama trajectory with a renewed interest; #SeoulBusters just gave me two new actors to crush on. 😅
Our golden retriever rookie detective met his old high-school friend. 😂
This is my first Lee Seung-woo's #kdrama ever, but he is super adorable. He really needs his big break as a lead soon; as I'm getting a Lee Chae-min's vibe from him, so he just needs that one role.

That Min-seo's scene with her dad at the end episode 14 was a precision feels strike.
No dramatic music, just a continuous shot of Park Se-wan trying and failing to hold back her tears

So her squad took care of her the only way they know how, by raiding her ex wedding buffet that they're invited to. 😂

I picked #SeoulBusters expecting a #Kdrama version of #BrooklynNinetyNine, but I got a #Scrubs vibe instead.
One minute I was laughing at JD and Turk's bromance, and the next I was bawling over four patients'deaths while The Fray - How To Save a Life playing in the background.
Same vibe.
I also did not expect that Park Ji-hwan could pull off melo scenes. I'm so used to seeing him in non-serious roles. I mean, his character is pretty goofy here too sometimes, but when he needs to, he pulls it off.

The most hilarious drama I’ve ever seen 😂😂😂. It was so wholesome despite the last 4 episodes turning a bit serious. Loved the chemistry between the characters. Definitely recommend watching this drama.
