My brain is happy I went to #sewexpo yesterday, but my back is not. Hurray for heating pads and back massage wands, I guess. I'm *so glad* I saw that article about how humans age rapidly at age 44. /sarcasm.

Oh, speaking of #sewexpo I also recently finished this top from hand-dyed fabric I grabbed last year. I'm obsessed with #garmentsewing that uses only rectangles, so I wanted to try adding a big square that places a corner under the arm for the side gores. 100% hand sewn & embroidered.

This fabric could have a bit more give for my taste, but since it's cotton flannel, it should loosen with wear. This is definitely my best fit yet, so I'm looking forward to making a pair with suiting. #garmentsewing
