36 square quilt blocks pinned to a "design wall" (a bedsheet hanging on the sewing room wall). They are pinned and ready to be assembled into 9 squares of 4 blocks, then into a 3 by 3 quilt top. Each of the 9 larger blocks will have an 8-pointed star at the center and stepped borders at each corner. The color palette is a modern take on the 1970s with orange, green, yellow and turquoise. The negative space in each block is white.
