I find French knots to be quite meditative! Time ceases to be a thing and I contentedly embroidery knot after knot.
Last night, I did 107 French knots. This morning I did 120.
I enjoyed doing extra details on my embroidery. The kit was designed as a snowy outline.

I finished the chain stitch on one of the socks!
I love how slow embroidery is. Six little rows of chain stitch and two little back stitches took me about an hour. It was peaceful and serene, restful and fun!
