Doing some more work on this A3 textile piece today. Sorting the top right corner with the blue #TransferDye background. Padded #SatinStitch and #FrenchKnots then remembered these lovely clear coloured beads secured with Y stitches also used elsewhere in the piece. #HandEmbroidery

On white twill polycotton with blue/ green transfer dye a selection of yo-yos, organza sewn appliqués, hand embroidery and beading in greens, yellows, oranges and browns.

Current long running #WorkInProgress #HabdEmbroidery based on a #TransferDye background. I’m gradually building up the structure and composition as I go. Enjoying the process very much (at the moment anyway!)

It’s #TransferDye day! Painted the transfer dye on my laser printed drawing. Secured firmly to the poly cotton fabric and applied heat with an iron. And voila! A starting point for #Embroidery etc

In an embroidery hoop on white drill polycotton is a green transfer dyed band with beads and embroidery below a woven area in muted greens and oranges.

Added some #HandEmbroidery and #Beading to the #TransferDye section of the sample with the #weaving. Then stuffed it from behind ( #Trapunto ) to add another dimension.
