I used my Baby Chick pattern to make a runner, along with my Garden Bunny and the flower/grass blocks from Petal + Stem. I am finishing up little things. Do you have a bite sized project you can finish? It will give you a win.

A photograph of my Sewing House Sorterer (head not included) holding up Little Wiggle's birthday present book cosy. It's a cream background with lots of butterflies in bright and pastel colours all over it. It also has a gold and mint green chain handle - I bought two, the shorter one for a hand bag, and a long one for cross-body bag. I sewed in loops and gold D-rings to secure them onto. I could have sewn some, but I was worried I'd never finish it due to brain fog. Little Wiggle already has a professionally made book cosy, which is beautiful, but it has an open top, with just a simple ribbon loop and button on the front. Because her books are smallish kids/YA books, they don't fill it out enough for the loop to work. She also likes to tuck her pocket hug/worry stone heart in, but she's worried about losing it. So... ... on the back of the book cosy (shown in this photograph), I added a small pocket on the lower third, made out of the same butterfly fabric. Just like the front, it has an envelope triangle & pink heart snap folded down on the top (although that's just a feature, I added velcro instead of a working snap), and I used the mint green lining of the main bag to make the envelope fold stand out. The pink heart looks pretty. Little Wiggle's pocket hug is a little blue heart stone that she can hold in her hand, and will fit neatly in this pocket, and, due to the hidden velcro, will be kept safe when she's not holding it.
A closer-up photograph of Little Wiggle's birthday book cosy, lying on my craft table. It has a cream background, and scatterings of variously sized butterflies in brights and pastels of pink, blue, green and purple. The top has a fold down envelope triangle, with a turquoise snap in the bottom part. On either side just below the fold of the envelope, is a mint green loop of fabric, the same plain fabric I lined the cosy in. It has a gold D-ring in it, so the gold chain and mint green leatherette ribbon through it can be attached or unhooked. There is a shorter one and a longer one, or she can have neither, and add whatever charms or keyrings she wants on it, and just carry it under her arm.
A closer photograph of the small back pocket pinned onto the main cosy before sewing. It is made from the same main fabric, but the envelope fold down is the same mint green colour cotton as the main cosy's lining. It has a bright pink heart snap on it, although the pocket itself has a small square of hidden velcro on the top edge, to keep it flat. I hope Little Wiggle likes it!
