on the first day of #sfn19, i had the pleasure of joining dr. rachel smith at the "setting up a lab" panel at the @SfNtweets career development shindig. many thanks to dr. smith, all the participants, and @MChiaraManzini for her work directing the initiative!
so, i think i'm finally feeling human again after that whole #sfn19 meeting. it's an absolute amazing meeting, if a little bit manic! and i know i'm gonna get a lot of side-eye for being saccharine, but i always come home feeling inspired and thankful.
And that’s a wrap on @Neurosci2019! It was great to have discussions about auditory neuroscience, #SciComm, #SciPol, and more! See you all next year! #SfN19
4.18 miles in 27:25 (6:34 pace). it's been forever since i last ran. as it turns out, #sfn19 is not conducive to massive amounts of free time. ;-) but i'm back now! www.strava.com/activities/2812217429 #strava
i am now home ... that can only mean one thing: starting to write all my #sfn19 thank-you notes!
spotted: someone still wearing their #sfn19 badge ... in the philadelphia airport.
There's still time to see Kyle Sullivan presenting about hire tumors and chemo independently affect #circadian circuitry at P40! #SfN19 @Neurosci2019
my #sfn19 is a success. we saw @SUEtheTrex!!!!! @Helena_LB, @doc_becca, @fMRI_guy and i were clearly very excited!
Thanks to the organizers of @NeuWriteSD, @MassiveSci, and others for a fun and informative Neuroscience and Writing social event at #SfN19!
I forced a man in the elevator to admire my brain-socks, because no one had noticed all day. #TimeToGoHome #sfn19
the social to end all socials is happening tonight! join the #sfn19 fly social hosted by @elliehoopla TONIGHT from 6:45-8:45 at motor row brewing co at 2337 s michigan ave. get food first and bring it with you - the brewery doesn't sell food, but you can bring it in! come hang!
@Neurosci2019 virgin, @lindsaystrehle, killing it at her poster on suppressive effects of tumors on aging-induced neuroinflammation. IBMR collab with @rbarrientoslab! #pni #SfN19
Fascinating talk by @DukeSci_Soc’s @NitaFarahany about the ethical implications of emerging brain-related technologies. Neuroscientists must carefully consider how our work affects society, and participate in regulating the results of our findings #SciComm #SciPol #SfN19
My @Addgene colleagues have been working hard at our non-profit's #SfN19 booth (no. 2163), but besides talking about the #neuroscience tools we share, they're recruiting! If you're not sure whether you want to leave academia or the lab, here are my thoughts on the matter (1/3):
Thanks to @Neubadah and @average_kelsey for a fun chat! So glad to have a network of #SciComm friends through @JoesBigIdea! #SfN19
it's the last day for the #sfn19 grad fair! come get a squishy rainbow brain (or 5) and learn about @JeffersonUniv! booth 64 at the grad fair!
Want to support Open, FAIR, and reproducible reasearch? Stop by NIF (2124) and our neighbors @INCForg @HumanBrainProj @nitrc_info to learn how! #SfN19
Get it while it's hot! Fresh data on tumor interactions with estrogen status in the brain! Poster S17 Dr. Russart @klgruss #SfN19 @Neurosci2019
at long last, photo achieved. @jenkins_paul and i with that brilliant force of nature, @MarinaP63 here at #sfn19!
This #sfn19, one symposium is all my back can do, and 2 (nonsequential) Hall B talks is all my butt can do. Who are these chairs made for? #ShortBodyProblems

it's not a proper #sfn19 until i see one of my favorite journal editors at @JPhysiol !!
Thanks DEAP project (A Data Exploration and Analysis Portal) from ABCD study for making science more reproducible by using #RRID to make their source code easily citable! #Rigor #Reproducibility #SfN19 @Neurosci2019
