Withered Ones are Revenants most commonly arising in old towns build on blood, oppression, & hate. They emerge from aged bigots and zealots who spread lies to their own benefit and no one noticed the death of. They spread strife between groups by supporting hate.

I've been using #ShadowFinder for my Urban Fantasy Starfinder play mode since 2021. Thanks to my cancer, my plans at a book have been badly delayed.
Now this has beaten me to the market, risking market confusion for my usage.

Necrologues are death spirits naturally occurring places where human deaths go unnoticed and unmemorialized, but are only major problems in large heartless cities. A necrologue takes the form and memory of someone who died recently without knowing they are dead, carrying on their work.

Subweavers, or Mole Spiders, are arachnid cryptids in undercities beneath Kansas City, Oklahoma City and Cincinnati. They seem to be giant Dolloff cave spiders with bodies a foot long and blades at the end of their legs. They use simple tools, and seem to ignore people who feed them.

Created by pouring blood of one unjustly killed into an old beehive, the Appalachian 'canteds called Blood Combs are human effigies of a victim made of wax by bees. They swarm with red bees, seek revenge, and kill sinners they meet.
There are rituals to help control them... a little.

Skludge is a vicious green goo found at the bottom f an extremely deep hole drilled by the Soviet Union. It converts brain matter into more skludge (driving victims crazy first). It lurks on ceilings, and forms loops to strangle victims, then enters their ears.

The skreigher is an ancient 350 lb carnivorous batlike creature from a secluded, dying valley. It hunts based on scent, seeking perfumelike odors similar to the wildflowers preferred by its natural prey, which drive it into a feeding frenzy.

Ctharthage is a supernatural neighborhood in Cinncinnati, build in forgotten subway tunnels beneath I75, Mount Storm Park, Carthage Rd Cemetery, the Zoo & Botanical Garden, and Millcrest Park, which all have entrances, and storm drains connect it to the OhioRiver.

Beneath Cincinnati is the largest abandoned subway in the US. The city knows of 7 stations and 3 miles of North-South tunnels, but forgot the 4 miles of East-West tunnels with 10 other stations. These have since become the supernatural neighborhood "Ctharthage."
