Shakespeare and Africa: Students Develop Stage Play for Bayreuth and Berlin What does Shakespeare have to do with Africa? That’s the central question of the play “Shakes:WIR. A Necessary Intervention,” developed by students at the University of Bayreuth together with Prof. Dr. Susan Arndt, Professor of Anglophone Literatures and member of the Cluster of Excellence “Africa Multiple”. The production will be performed in Bayreuth and Berlin.
