I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. Jeanette Greaves really handles point of view well and we get very close to the protagonist and even the antagonist in some scenes. It is easy to empathise with the characters. Greaves has created a whole world with a sound theology and is very disciplined in controlling this world. Add to all of that a fabulous story that ends in a satisfying way but also leaves us hungry for more. I can’t wait to read the next two volumes. Gill James
