Why do the flowers in Japan last such a Short amount of time?
Where I live in Hastings, New Zealand, they've started growing a bunch of Sakura on the side of the streets, and they are in bloom for nearly a month, way longer than in Japan.

It is hilarious that they haven't had a proper Winter because in NZ we haven't had a proper Summer. 😂

We haven't had a day above 30 °C most of the Summer and in Jan it even Snowed in parts of the country.
