Kaze is about an 8 when it comes to dancing. Whether it’s a traditional Steppe dance or he’s attending a ball, he knows how to move with the crowd. He’s taught a few people how to dance before but he’s definitely no professional at it.

Kaze is a known hummer whenever he’s alone. Humming the songs of one of his partners as the vibrations travel through his entire body and make him feel good on the inside both mentally and physically.

Being a father already, he wants to make sure that he is in their lives just like his father was before his passing.
Though with recently learning that his oldest child went through the first part of her life without him does break his heart.

Kazs believes that fate and destiny do exist. He’s been shown his own fate on numerous occasions thanks to fortune tellers and weird time travel robots.
However, he does not care for destiny as he believes it can be rewritten.

Jinriyu manifest very similar to how Ranjit has his dragon around him at times. Kaze loses the glow in his eyes but that shows his true yellow eye color which shows a new type of intensity within him.

As people are familiar with, there are the Four Lords that reside over Othard. What they don’t tell you much about are the minor lords, smaller deities who watch over certain areas of Othard. When the Raen fled to Sui-no-Sato, one of those minor lords became its protector.

Today I wanna talk about one of Kaze’s closest interactions.
This is Statice, if you’ve done the Aloalo Island quest, you may have met her.
Kaze made a deal with her on one of his expeditions. He would allow her to travel with him, almost like a familiar. In return, he would give 🧵

Kaze has always typically felt comfortable in his skin and scales. There’s scars that tell stories that he doesn’t mind showing off.
Though he’s ashamed of his tail…as through careless means it has not grown to its full potential. He can’t even move it to wrap around his loved ones.

This woman right here, Kaze’s first love.
They were both young and Kaze was running off the adrenaline of surviving his first Naadam. They found a nice cave hot spring and went at it with melodic lust.

And interacting with any tribe that would allow him in for a time being.
He did eventually leave the Steppe to see the world but he always comes back to visit those that took him in and gave him some of the best memories of his childhood.

After the war with the Garleans ended, Kaze went on a small side quest, not telling anyone as he made his way deep into Garlean territory. He was looking for a specific item that had been taken from those he held dear.

It’s 3am and I want to talk about swords.
Specifically Kaze’s sword. Aptly named The Horizon Walker, it was forged during his time in the Phoenix Tails, shortly after he joined the adventuring guild.
While he is proficient with all katanas, this blade in his hand is magic.

N’ami is speaking with her since grandmaster in command, Kaze. Afraid to leave and retire. “Kaze… What if I’m not ready?” “…Hmm? For what?”
She lays it out more bare for him to understand. She isn’t ready to let go of what she’s built. It’s been her whole life and nothing else. “To leave it all behind… I-I built this place… I don’t think I’m ready to leave…” “N’ami…”
She begins to justify her staying in her current role. Being a samurai despite her own health and needs. Kaze looks at her with a confident smile. “There’s still so much to be done, so many people to save… I’m not-“ “N’ami…” he reassures…
N’ami begins to realize that she has a hard time letting go, which brings her to tears… she’s not ready. But her heart is begging her to let go, for her own health. Kaze continues to reassure her. -sniffle- “You’ve done well to lift up the next generation. Let us handle the rest, while you deserve the rest of your life…”
With age, comes the horrid reality that you aren’t as strong as you once were. But you are wiser. 💔

Growing up in the Malaguld Tribe, Kaze had learned a lot about the 2 different Au Ra cultures. The nomadic and strong will of the Xaela. The rich history and legends of the different Raen settlements. It’s what fueled him to go out and try and meet every tribe as well as travel the> 🧵

So, Kaze’s tail has undergone irreparable damage to the point where he cannot feel it nor move it in any way. It sorta just hangs behind him as he walks and sits.
It does make him a bit sad that he can’t use it to wrap around his loved ones.

While Kaze left the Steppe when he was 15, he didn’t start going on adventures and expeditions until he was around 21. He did a few odds and ends like joining the Sekiseigumi and Culinary Guild before settling at the Phoenix Tails.
