Last weekend's drive along the Cheroholah Skyway (aka Tail of the Dragon, as it's known to motorcyclists). The skyway stretches from eastern TN to western NC.

I was initially disappointed that my copy of the Sigma 18-50 f/2.8 lens didn't reach the near-macro 4.8"
focusing distance.

Then I remembered that my lightweight Fujinon XC 15-45mm can only focus close when zoomed out... et voila! Behold, a star ship! I'm loving this lens. #Sigma1850 #StarTrek
