DAY 12 (July 16th) of Tour de Fleece - I knit the swatches and finished the cards for the Suri Alpaca and for the Silk Caps for my breed and fiber study.

Singles spun on an Electric Eel Wheel 6.0. Fiber was very nep-y.

Plyed yarn on a niddy noddy. You can see the inconsistency as some parts are larger and some are smaller.

Finished Sample 80, Silk Caps. I had a tough time with consistency. Singles ranged from 40 to 60 wpi, resulting in 3 ply, light fingering to laceweight, 14 to 20 wpi yarn of about 42 yards to 0.6 ounces.
