Almost all of Silos' clan died when adventurers seiged Omu when he was still an egg, so they had to restructure and instead of a broodmother he was raised by Aztashia, a high priestess of Sseth. Silos proved himself to her when he was 3 by eating the rest of his clutch ^_^
