As a publisher we hate to play favorites and #SmokeCity did NOT start out as our favorite (The Mercy of the Tide did) but it ended up that way! That book. I can't even begin to describe how: original, heartbreaking, heartwarming and gorgeously written it is. One of my fav books of all time.
