A screenshot of a reddit comment explaining the story of the toaster at SoTfest, the text is the following:
It was a long standing joke with a friend of mine that whenever one of us got a gift for the other we would joke about it being a toaster. Which never happened due to us living in different countries. So when I knew they would be at SoTfest I decided to commit to the bit and went to a random store in the UK and bought them a toaster. What made this even better to me was they can't use the toaster due to it having a UK plug and they had to get the toaster through airport security. When they realised this they tried hiding the toaster under the rpg table at SoTfest, but at that time both J0toro and Becky where aware of the toaster so I snitched on my friend by telling everyone that would listen to ask them about the toaster. When Becky heard they hid the toaster she gave me the amazing idea of letting Mike sign the toaster as then it would become a burden and my friend had to take it home then. So in the evening I went to the store again to buy sharpies and started going around asking the amazing people from Rare to sign it while my friend was following me around. Whenever I was asked about the toaster I replied with "it's not mine it's theirs" and pointed at my friend. Which they replied with "oh this is Bob my emotional support toaster". Most people left confused then, the few that mentioned the plug knowing my friend not being from the UK got a response from me saying "well my friend forgot theirs at home so I quickly bought them a new one as its awkward going somewhere without a support toaster right".
You know what, since I explained the toaster bit on Reddit and to a very few select people at #SoTfest here it is, the actual story behind Bob the toaster.
Don't read this if you don't want the magic ruined!
But uhm filling some space there... Uhm I guess I am way to dedicated if I set a goal lol
