A nighttime photo of a severely bent metal signpost leaning behind a concrete utility pole on a wet grass swale. The damaged post holds mangled highway signs for I-95 and US-1. Several orange traffic cones and yellow sandbags are clustered at the base of the pole next to a sidewalk, and the asphalt street reflects nearby green traffic lights.
How long have these cones been here? Putting markers around a bent sign isn't a repair, it’s a placeholder. This sign is hard to read & a distraction for drivers, esp on rainy nights like we often have. We'll continue to work to improve traffic safety in #SoFlo. #SocialGood
