been sidelined by #Facebook for over a week, for somehow violating their policy on being an underread writer and underappreciated podcaster who only posts about his new books and episodes, with an occasional bday greet to friends... no way to appeal, or talk to a human... (sigh)...

I think I've figured out my different audiences on social media. Facebook: family and friends and people I have a Real world connection with (even if I've never met them in person). Threads: mostly writers at various stages as well as most of the reader community. BlueSky: All the queer nerds and a couple of people I used to follow on Twitter. BlueSky is by far my biggest number of followers. I don't have enough interaction on Mastodon to even know but it's mostly writers and tech nerds, I'm pretty sure. If someone were to release a new social Media platform I would have to politely decline because this is enough to keep track of.
