What a difference a day makes! Same job as yesterday but it offered the trainee driver an insight into disruption & driving with low adhesion conditions. B’ham Intl/Rugeley & Walsall were good aside from a little slipping. Then disruption hit for the #CrossCity - ended up with a trip to #SohoDepot
A taxi to #SohoDepot to bring a pair of #Class730 to B’ham New St was how my day started at the crack of dawn. I had time to quickly make a coffee ahead of driving Four Oaks/Redditch/Four Oaks & then after a break I finished up with a Rugeley. #DayInTheLife #TrainDriver

Sunday’s shift went a bit skewed. I ended up with cancelled trains, then I did a favour by running 730024 up to #SohoDepot (which the shunter didn’t know was coming!). I parked her next to her newer sister - 730216 & it was nice to see #Class37 37608 #DayInTheLife #TrainDriver
Another late shift finished! Today’s consisted of B’ham Intl/Rugeley/B’ham Intl followed by Broms/Lich & put the train to bed at #SohoDepot - I didn’t make it to Bromsgrove - terminated at Longbridge & used the sidings to reverse. #DayInTheLife #TrainDriver

Yesterday: Collected my pair of #Class730 from #SohoDepot & drove a round trip on the #CrossCity - do love the morning sky! Followed this up with B’ham Intl & Rugeley where I saw a #Class350 pair depart for Euston. Rarely drive them now. #DayInTheLife #TrainDriver #WomenInRail
