📍 This was followed by a meeting with the Ukrainian Delegation – we at #EUTransport remain committed to supporting Ukraine through our #SolidarityLanes initiative as the country continues to deal with Russia’s unprovoked and unjustified invasion.
This Agreement is crucial to support the EU-Ukraine #SolidarityLanes, facilitating the transport of vital goods, like fuel and humanitarian aid, while enabling Ukrainian exports such as grain, ores, and steel to reach the EU and beyond.

I’m delighted to be in Chisinau for the second EU-Moldova Transport Dialogue alongside 🇲🇩 Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of Infrastructure & Regional Development Vladimir Bolea.
We discussed the development of our transport relations, including building on the success of the 🇪🇺🇺🇦 #SolidarityLanes.

Since May 2022, the EU #SolidarityLanes have enabled Ukraine to export about 170 million tonnes of goods.
They have helped Ukraine generating €145 billion in value to its economy and help integrate into the EU market.

Around 65% of Ukrainian agri-food products leave the country via our #SolidarityLanes.
They have helped Ukraine export more than 157 million tonnes of goods, generating €55 billion in value to its economy.

Two years ago, we created the #SolidarityLanes to improve EU-Ukraine-Moldova transport routes in response to Russia’s full-scale invasion of 🇺🇦.
They have helped Ukraine export more than 136 million tonnes of goods, generating €50 billion of income for its economy.
