AHA!! Here were my thoughts: Aerith (possibly Naminé using illusions) shares her conjecture with Sora that she and the rest of the Traverse Town are illusions (幻/まぼろし) made from his memories (not unlike the Book of Prophesies…but I digress). She warns him that the phantoms of his memory (記憶の幻影) may mislead him. Sora pleads she explain herself better for easier comprehension, but Aerith apologizes and declines, citing that she, too, is an illusion and thus cannot interfere much. Sora doesn’t want Aerith to speak like that, as it sounds lonely (さびしい). Recall that (aside from Marluxia’s coercion) Naminé’s loneliness made her follow nefarious orders to alter Sora’s memories: Naminé: ずっとひとりだったからー Goofy: 寂しくて (さびしくて)
