While waiting for my starter to do it's thing, it's time for some sourdough crackers to use up some of the excess. This batch will have steak seasoning on one and everything bagel on the other. Smelling good already!

This is what happens when your sourdough starter & discard are misbehaving. Even in hibernation they exploded. The discard stays in the fridge and shouldn't be active at all and I overfed my starter to keep it happy while I was at TFF. Apparently it was ebulllient.

Finished result of trying to make a focaccia using sour dough starter for the first time. A little well toasted and not very fluffy but still yummy!

Oh I waited til the morning to try my bread and loaf to give a review!

The focaccia came out a success in my books! The sour dough starter needs to be abit more stronger and needs to proof more but happy with my first try!
