In a #SCOTUS #Leak, when #Souter resigned after #Obama took office to hand the job to a liberal successor ( #Sotomayor ), he wrote a dissent that accused majority of pretty much overthrowing the country and the rule of law. It was so catastrophic #Roberts narrowed the opinion. RIP to a real one.
Souter warned in 2012 about the rise of civic ignorance and the threat of a Trump-like figure destroying America. He came in as a conservative but left a liberal lion. He was also gay, but we couldn’t say that when he was alive.
