Week 2 of #SparkBYN was another great podcast on mentoring!!
- good relationships shouldn't feel forced
- one person can't be a mentor for everything (different stages require different mentors)
- being a good mentor doesn't always mean having a solution
- being an active listener is key!
Some interesting discussions this week about mid-career mentoring of post-promotion faculty. I would love to see some similar initiatives at my institution!
