Aunt May watches an old tape she made of Peter and Uncle Ben. MJ says Peter was a cute kid, and May wishes MJ had known Peter back then.
MJ shares that she was hurt by what Anna said. May understands how Anna can get under someone's skin, but she's still her friend and has every right to be concerned about Peter. May and MJ discuss how Peter is complicated, but May reveals that she knows Peter is Spider-Man.

MJ leaves for a job interview. Aunt Anna is surprised, but says that Peter can't support MJ with his work at the Daily Bugle. MJ tries to avoid another argument, but Anna asks that maybe MJ was so upset because she's right about Peter.

Morlun lays Kaine in bed, seeing him as both a loyal servant and a friend. Morlun cloned Kaine from his own cells, but Kaine's clone degeneration is a constant failure. Morlun tells Kaine to sleep, but warns that he will feast on Kaind's life force eventually.
