I finally got to try #RememberOurTrip, which has quite an interesting theme: we gather memories of a holiday we went on together - and hope we all remember the same things. Quick to teach and play - an excellent design. #SpielViel

Every player has 4 action tiles from which they pick one on their turn and then flip it. The back of the card has a secondary action that doesn't involve putting food on the table.

Last day of #SpielViel! Today I was accompanied by my parents and my aunt, and we started the day with #TheYawningPortal, a cool looking and very tactical game about serving food to fantasy heroes. We all liked it.

Finally we played #RockHard1977, which has a fantastic theme that really shines through during gameplay. (We all know what the candy represents. 😅) It was fun, the components are great, and I would definitely play it again. #SpielViel

I loved the #Worms videogames as a kid so I was really excited to try the board game. The rest of my group wasn't a fan, but I loved the chaos and random destruction. 😂 Resolving all the effects and explosions can be a bit fiddly and time-consuming though. #SpielViel

Next was #TheLoop, a cooperative game with a quirky theme (an evil mastermind with a time machine that causes rifts). The humour and art were the best part, the game itself felt pretty random - and punishing, when missions disappeared as we were about to complete them. #SpielViel

Saturday at #SpielViel started with #LordOfTheRingsDuel, a nice evolution of 7 Wonders Duel with the same crunchy decisions built in. I enjoyed it (especially the region board is a great), and the art is beautiful.

It's #SpielViel in Königsbrunn, and I've been playing #boardgames all weekend! 😍 Friday started with a session of #ThisWarOfMine, which is a fantastic game but not easy to win (and we didn't). Our group discussed a lot & we ended up playing for 6 hours.

Today at #SpielViel we had the opportunity to try #BombBusters, which I found immensely enjoyable! We played 3 missions back to back. I love the idea of guessing which tiles your opponents have, and the contents of the box seem to include lots and lots of extras for longevity.

I went back to #SpielViel today and finally had a chance to try #Distilled, which I thought was excellent. We only played a few rounds, but we all enjoyed ourselves immensely. I will have to play it some more but I can already see this kick Viticulture out of my collection.

November was a month of trying new (to me) games, thanks to #Spielwiesn and #SpielViel! 🥰 I hope a lot of these will see more plays in December! #boardgames
