My split keyboard journey

In January 2025 I got my first split keyboard. After seeing so many Vim/Neovim video content creators use them, I also wanted to try. Now more than a year later, I'm happy to share my experience with it.

Hm, maybe I found a successor to the Magic Keyboard. The Elora looks like exactly what I wanted. This is significantly better for my hands than the Adv360. I'm playing around with custom QMK, and now I think I know what I want. #splitkeyboards

Et dans ma routine, j'utilise uniquement un clavier split pour apprendre la nouvelle disposition, donc mon cerveau 🧠 associe "clavier de portable" = qwerty et clavier split = ergol
Du coup ça m'oblige à me déplacer avec ce clavier dans mon sac pour faire […]

A second, low-profile split ergonomic keyboard in front of the 3D printed one.
I previously built a more minimalist, low-profile Bluetooth keyboard, but it ended up being too difficult to switch to when I needed to get work done. So this one is pretty much the opposite. #ergomech #splitkeyboards
