We've gone with this cartoon of the AC going into dinner - a reminder that while mountaineering isn't regarded as an extreme sport nowadays it certainly was!

The winner of the race was David East, second was Lester Piggott, who went on to be a top #jockey, and one of the boys in the background is Harry Glaysher
