I just captured one of the most tender moments I’ve seen in nature—a close-up of a baby Canadian goose (gosling) in the wild. I was able to get in real close, and the detail in this shot is incredible. You can actually see the soft, fine hair on its tiny body. Moments like this are rare and unforgettable. In the background, mama goose is calmly nestled in the grass, while the baby seems to be gently watching over her. It’s a peaceful, quiet interaction—a powerful reminder of the gentle beauty that exists in the wild if we take time to notice it. 📷 This photo was taken by me, Rudi Dueck, using my Canon EOS 5D Mark IV and Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II USM lens—a perfect combo for capturing these up-close wildlife portraits with clarity and heart.
