Dear Neighbor, The Springfield First Aid Squad has a new ambulance on the way! After years of answering thousands of calls, our ambulances are showing their age. Constant use takes a toll, and we need to be sure our vehicles are ready when you need us. Last year, we responded to over 2,200 calls, each one a neighbor, friend, or family member who needed help. This new ambulance will keep us responding quickly, safely, and reliably. Unfortunately, the cost of keeping that promise continues to rise. A new, empty, ambulance costs 190% of what it did in 2016, when we purchased our last truck. That's why we're reaching out to ask for your help in outfitting our new ambulance with the lifesaving equipment and supplies needed to care for our neighbors, friends, and families 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including weekends and holidays. Your tax-deductible donation will go directly toward equipping this new ambulance with everything needed to turn one of life's most frightening moments into one where care, compassion, and skill make all the difference.
