I worked with the late Spumco artist Jim Smith (1952- 2025) back in the day. One thing that people might not have known was how good Jim was at caricature. He would actually be the one who "cracked the code" on a celeb and others would run with it. #spumco #animation

These are all by the late great Spumco artist Jim Smith (1952-2025). I would just photocopy everything I could find back then ('97) and today I'm glad I did. Jim would spend a lot of time studying, redawing, flipping it over, redrawing, over and over. #animation #spumco
