Lore of the #Srella and their "Ghost in the Machine" situation.

There are small biomechanic elements in their skin, like ports. The side view head is connected with two cables. Next to the sketches is a fine liner pen.

Even their time system and an adaptation of their language is used as a common ground among different species.

#Srella are akin to alien gods, so their failure has meaning. But(!) this doesn't keep people from trying again. If one of the cast would want to achieve immortality, it's #Sorrax.

Most of the cast wouldn't want to achieve immortality, I guess. Especially, as the #Srella are much more than a "failed civilization" to the #ZhorKhat.
The Srella left behind working technology, like the "gates" that connect the galaxies, but also an immense amount of knowledge.

This lore is already a few years old, but I still like it.

The #Srella even had a world, next to their vessels. It was a planet which they referred to as Srellor, but it was never found.

This is why the #ZhorKhat have strict laws for creation! The Zhor Khat never encountered a living #Srella, but they found their recordings and their empty vessels.

And with recordings I mean "thoughts" - distorted strings of memories - of long gone people.
