Framed by doric pilasters and decorated columns as elaborate cornicing, cherubs and extravagant swags hover protectively - a gorgeous window awaits the curious visitor.

An incredible, vibrantly colored stained glass skylight/ceiling inside the stairwell of a small non descript, three story walkup apartment building around 13th and Oak St. in Vancouver Canada Very grateful to the gracious residents I had a nice chat with and let me get a few shots of such fantastic glass.
A neighborhood little library with a great stained/textured glass window/door depicting the home it resides in front of. Vancouver B.C.
A glimpse thru the door of one of the few crypts in Mountain View Cemetery, shows a small stained glass window on its inside wall and a reflection of the surrounding trees in the doors glass.
Portion of a dusty door with a bright red cut glass flower like burst.

Some small fragments of medieval stained glass now arranged and displayed in a window in what was part of the cloister of Bristol Cathedral, near to the Chapter House. In the central fragment is something like a stylised pomegranate. To the right is the head of a lion with a scroll appearing from his mouth like a long tongue. Part of a similar lion is at lower left.
Is there a #StainedGlassSaturday here? If so, this lively lion (and a fragment of his friend) deserves to be here. In Bristol Cathedral.
Large, arched, window comprising 3 individual arched windows, 2 roundels above them, and 2 smaller fan and 1 small roundel above and to the sides of these. Each of the large windows contains a different coat of arms belonging to the Soame family. These are very brightly coloured with 3 coats of arms in each of the large arched windows and 1 in each of the large roundels. The window was installed in 1620 and restored in 1876.

Happy #BurnsNight! And what better window to highlight - for this week's #StainedGlassSaturday - than Saint Andrew in our listening room.
I love the glass of Tom Denny who has just completed a new work for the parish church at Tisbury, Wilts. The below from the humble church of St Christopher, Cheltenham. It has to be seen to be believed #stainedglasssaturday
