The first #TTRPG I ever purchased with my own money right off the shelf was #StarFrontiers! This game was massively influential for me. The look, the vibes, the system, everything about it inspired me. Even these weird cutaway diagrams of the internal organs of a human and other space people.
Seriously, I bought my first box of #StarFrontiers #miniatures at a #ToysRUs. Back in the #80s, toy stores would sell little kids boxes of lead without blinking an eye.

I’m gonna say retrofitting #StarFrontiers to try to run Star Wars a long long time ago. I still have the tables written in pencil on typewriter paper somewhere.
But my first ‘published’ material was a #FiascoRPG playset entitled “The Depot”.
Thoughts on “Star Missions” as a new name for #StarFrontiers?
