My grandkitty and Alyssa's foster fail, Riyas, had surgery today to treat stomatitis. Right before Christmas he underwent a similar procedure, but for reasons unknown to us, that vet did not remove all of the teeth (what we had asked for).

Payton had a vet visit. He now needs a medication called Atopica for the rest of his life. #stomatitis is still present even after tooth extractions. We are hoping Payton will be cooperative with his twice daily dose starting next week! He's a sweetheart and deserves a happy life! ❤️

So it's been a week of oral antibiotics for my smelly girl. Little Miss Prosciutto's breath is a million times better! It won't fix this in the long term, but now we have a short term fix.

Had to take Prosciutto to the vet this morning for her breath. We thought it was going to be a standard cleaning. Come to find out she has an autoimmune disorder called #stomatitis. Essentially her body is attacking her teeth. So stinky... But we still love her!🧶🐈
