We had a fascinating visit to #StoneyLittleton #LongBarrow today. Our @englishheritage.bsky.social guide was clearly passionate about the barrow, and shared with us a wealth of information about the people who built it and its discovery and restoration

Stoney Littleton is an example of an easily accessible neolithic long barrow near the village of Wellow in Somerset. Dating from around 3500 BC, it is a barrow of the Cotswold-Severn type #EnglishHeritage #StoneyLittleton #wessexattractions https://wessexsociety.com/?p=11351
