Day 2 at #storycon has been a busy morning talking to readers, authors, publishers, kids, and parents about the joy of reading and the importance of the freedom to read in Utah! It was great see Jennifer Nielsen at the booth!

#Storycon #saltlakecity is being held in the same convention center as a national cheerleading competition. I'm waiting for the moment when a twelve-sided die to determines the stunt to be performed.

At #storycon #saltlakecity listening to lit agents field questions about rejection. The perspectives shared make me believe that the querying "system" is broken. Too many good authors being rejected simply because agents are inundated. Anyone thinking about solutions?
